President

Julia Wolfson

she/her

The President oversees Willard, runs Executive Board meetings, aids other members of Exec with their responsibilities, represents Willard on the Residential College Board, and maintains SOFO training.

Julia Wolfson is a second-year from Brooklyn, New York, majoring in History while also considering a second major in Economics and a minor in Classics! If you can’t find her bothering people in the WFFL, she is probably up at SPAC saving lives as a lifeguard or drowning people while playing water polo. She loves going out to get coffee or eat in Evanston with her friends while spending all of the money she makes from lifeguarding. Julia is thrilled to be serving as Willard’s next president because she loves supporting her fellow Woo’s, so feel free to stop her to chat or reach out by email!

Vice President

Jack Baker

he/him

The Vice President is responsible for running Central (Willard's Junior Exec Board) and overseeing programming for Wildcat Welcome.

Jack Baker is a second-year from Little Rock, Arkansas, majoring in journalism and American studies. When he’s not yapping in the WFFL, waiting in line at Fran’s, or reporting for The Daily, you can find him listening to Noah Kahan on his JBL Clip while hammocking on the Lakefill. Jack’s favorite album changes weekly, but Taylor Swift’s Folklore is always in the top three. He’s always down to chat about music, movies, or politics—so feel free to reach out and say hi!

The Secretary creates the weekly Exec agenda, takes minutes at weekly meetings, maintains the Willard Calendar, and manages the Willard Points System.

Amiya is a second-year majoring in Political Science and Learning from Boston, Massachusetts. When she’s not procrastinating in the WFFL, you can find her at rehearsal for Brown Sugar (Northwestern's premier South-Asian a capella group); practice for the Model UN travel team; or the nearest Dunkin Donuts (which is, unfortunately, far).

He loves gabbing about Dance Moms, celebrity drama, and his vinyl collection at home, so be sure to say hi!

The Social Chairs plan all Willard social events, including Willard Formal, create new events, and help Willard residents bring their event ideas to life!

Patrick Duncan is a second-year student studying Physics and Data Science from Greenwich, Connecticut. When he’s not puzzling over physics homework, you can find him exploring Evanston, playing board games with friends, or trying (and usually failing) to win in IM (Intermural) Sports. He also enjoys experimenting in the kitchen as he learns to bake and spends time doing lab work. As this year’s Social Chair, Patrick is excited to host a ton of fun events. Don’t hesitate to say hi!

Petski is a huge fan of Bob Dylan's music, especially his albums of the 1970s and 2000s — he has seen him live seven times! He also likes to run. As of April 2025, he has currently finished Candide by Voltaire and is reading All Quiet on the Western Front by the great Erich Maria Remarque and The General Theory of Employment, Interest, and Money by John Maynard Keynes. When she’s not struggling through her math homework in the PCKL, you can find Merritt exploring different neighborhoods in Chicago, tutoring at Evanston High School, or going for long runs on the lake fill! Merritt is also a horror movie junkie and a lover of cheesy romance books (yes, both!) so if you need a recommendation for either be sure to come say hi!

Diversity and Inclusion Chair

Nila Muthusamy

she/her

The Diversity and Inclusion Chair works to foster an inclusive, empathetic community within Willard that promotes the well-being of all students through events and other initiatives.

Nila (pronounced like the nilla in vanilla) is a freshman from Northville, Michigan studying Radio/TV/Film and Cognitive Science. Nila is a part of two dance teams (Northwestern Deeva and Ahana Dance Project) and helps out on many student film sets. Her primary interests are Tamil movies, libraries, Shakesmart, the moon, and purple: feel free to start a conversation with her about any of these things, but be aware that she might never stop talking. In her free time, she loves to try new cheeses, make references to movies nobody has ever seen, and create in many artistic mediums (henna, paper quilling, knitting, Instagram reels, etc). She is so excited to plan events that will make everyone at Willard feel included and at home. If you ever want to get your henna done, request an event, or just say hi, don’t hesitate to reach out!

Food and Fireside Chair

Lucy Yao

she/her

The Food and Fireside Chairs recruit Fellows and Willard residents to give Firesides and organize all Munchies and other food-driven events.

Lucy Yao is a second-year who has the fortunate (more like unfortunate) luck of hailing from the California Bay Area (guess who lives 10 min away from Tesla’s hq!) and is (tentatively) majoring in Journalism, Environmental Policy & Culture, and Cognitive Science. When not traveling and preparing for yet another Model United Nations conference, she’s probably hopping between the African library, Norris, and Tech/Mudd (top ten nerdwestern students right here) and is always willing to yap about whatever latest obsession is haunting her screentime. If there’s any food that absolutely MUST be a munchies, please please come say hi during events or around campus :D

Public Relations Chair

Jacqueline "Jackie" Le

she/they

The Public Relations Chair publicizes all Willard events to the LISTSERV, social media, and Woochat and designs and sends out the Weekly Woo to remind residents of events and important information.

Jacqueline “Jackie” Le is a second-year majoring in Political Science and Global Health Studies. Born and raised in St. Paul, Minnesota, she also calls the vibrant streets of Ho Chi Minh City her tropical home away from home. If you can't find her she’s watching movies on her laptop and striking up conversations with anyone (or anything-- yes, including the coffee machine) in the WFFL or whipping up her latest take on “gourmet” ramen, she's probably on some random side-quest with an satchel of snacks in tow!

Diya Raj

she/her

The Service and Philanthropy Chair oversees service events, projects, and a newsletter to connect Willard residents to the local community.

Diya Raj is a first-year from Dublin, Ohio currently majoring in mathematics and journalism. When she’s not reconsidering her majors, you can find her using up her meal exchanges at Shake Smart or searching for a study spot to lock in (spoiler alert: she’s never been able to lock in for more than one hour). She also loves exploring new cafes and restaurants despite losing significant amounts of money with every trip. As Service and Philanthropy Chair, she can’t wait to help Woos make a lasting impact by participating in fun service events!
